Lifting Weights??

Just curious how many folks still lift as part of their training for triathlon?  The last few weeks I have been pretty busy so I have been skimping on the weights, but I usually try to lift 3-4 times per week. 

This year I got away from more of the glamour based muscle focused exercises (bench press, curls, etc) and started doing more core focused work.  While I do miss lifting the heavier weight and what it does for personal appearance I do feel like I am less prone to injury and improving my overall performance.

Thoughts? Concerns? Suggestions?
